Tyler and I spent 2 days home sick this week with major head colds.  Not fun.  Here was my view…

It was homecoming week at the high school.  Here was me as Batman (mask on my head)  But my friend forgot to bring me the tutu.  Oh well.

On my way to work on Friday, I arrived a few minutes after an accident happened.  A semi swerved for an animal, hit the edge of the bridge and burst into flames.  I didn’t get a good picture but there were huge flames and lots of black smoke.  I was lad I was running late that day!!

We spent lots of time working on apples this weekend.  We made 5 gallons of pressed apple juice.  So very yummy!!  I made apple streusel muffins! Hoping to do more pies.  Always so much to do!

Only 3 more days til Fall?

Life is still busy but we are surviving.  Alayna is doing awesome in volleyball!

Tyler auditioned for and got a main part in the Thespian Murder Mystery.  Wish you could all be here in October to attend!  He has also been very busy with show choir and marching band!

The girls are busy too doing lots of fun stuff.  Wish they would email me more photos (hint hint)

The apples are upon us.  The honey crisp are gorgeous and store worthy.  We made a delectable pie last night!

We are all fighting major head colds and praying to get well.  Tons of teachers and students out sick already.  ugh!

Back and Busy

Kayla made it back to school this week.  Brandon picked her up and they spent a few days in Provo with Marisa and Jared.

Marisa went with friends to a Brazilian Festival on Saturday.

I didn’t get a picture of ALaynas vball game.  Ill try to get one this week.  Tyler marched in the football game on Friday.

We were busy again this weekend with the apples.  We even made apple fruit leather which was delicious!

It’s about time…

Well, I have missed 2 weeks of blogs which is a 1st for me.  In addition to the busyness of school starting, my computer was down for a week for some cleaning and installing windows 10.  But I think I am back up and running now

I can’t even express how busy life has been! Only this picture can describe the exhaustion…

School started for us.  Tyler is super busy with marching band and show choir.  ALayna is loving her French class and has started volleyball.  Last week she got 20 serves over the net!

Marisa left to BYU and Kayla came back from DC .  Marisa is loving her classes, her new roommates, and especially having Jared back.  They are working buddies now too!

Last Saturday was 40 more jars salsa and tomatoes, 4 loaves banana bread, deep cleaned house, 3 loads dishes, 9 loads laundry...

Bob and I got to go see Brian Regan!!!  He was wonderful!  And so dang funny!  We had a great evening and even loved his opener, Joe Zimmerman!

The next night we went to the Elders quorum date night.  We played giant Jenga, the newlywed game (which we almost won!), then we taught the cha cha, and ended in a heated girl vs. boy Pictionary.  It was a fun evening, but both those nights in a row knocked me out for several days.

Today was more salsa and we made crock pot apple crisp and apple chips.  So yummy! 

Kayla leaves Wednesday   Tyler has his 1st game Friday. Kayla has her 1st game Thursday.  Wish us all luck!
