Having fun while we wait...

Kayla and Brandon finally got the call to come into the hospital the after of May 6th to be induced.  So, Bob, Alayna, and I got to spend some time with Ellie!  She did really well while they were gone!
We walked to the animal farm almost every day we were there.  Ellie always had to wear her sunglasses and cow backback and pack it with bread and carrots "tiny kellets and big kellets"

May the Fourth be with you

Today we had a fun celebrating Star Wars day and trying ti get baby boy to come out since we are all ready.  Apparently he is not...lol

We had 2 dance parties, read stories, went for walks, had a zoo in the living room, made cookies, and watched the last Star Wars Movie. I also ordered my birthday gift!  Bob and Brandon worked and Alayna had her work orientation today!

Trek to Utah

Since Kayla has a date of May 6 to be induced, we decided to head out to Utah to try and be there when the baby arrives. We were worried about the airplane and bringing the virus back to the baby so we took the train.  Only 6 of us were on it!!!  So, again, a great time to knock something off our bucket list- taking the train across the country lol.  It was 30 hours and we will probably never do it again lol.

We got a room.  It was super small, but we were able to sleep and it was nice to have our own space.

We were alone in the dining car too- We wore a mask and gloves any time we were out of the room. Bob even had a seatbelt in his bed!

The views were as Bob would say, "Spectacular"!  We had the observation deck to ourselves.  So Awesome!

We made it safely late Saturday night!

Sunday was a beautiful day. Got to talk to so many family members over Zoom!  We had a beautiful afternoon nature walk and some great bonding time. They have Kangaroos, llamas, and alpacas so close to their house! I loved it!
