A little Ewok and Pumpkin for Halloween!
I will leave the write up of the birth story to Kayla and Brandon (maybe they will even start an Ellie blog- hint hint). But I was so incredibly grateful to be there for the birth and witness such a beautiful moment in their lives as well as witness the birth of our 1st grandbaby. I was so impressed with Kayla’s strength and with Brandon’s unwavering support. There were also so many family members who traveled to be there. My heart was so full and Welcome to the world sweet Ellie!!!
On the way to the hospital

Way to go Bob, Tyler, and Alayna on all the amazing apple juice you made yesterday!
Cant wait to try it!
Happy 19th Birthday to Tyler!!!
This is the best “cake” I could do after the long day we both had. 8 Minions plus 11 for the candles makes 19 right? When he saw it he burst out laughing and gave me a hug! And for the record it tasted awesome!
I spent 2 days at the PLC conference (Not by choice). While most of it didn’t aply to me, the speakers were amazing and I now know the guys we need for secretary of education!
Long story short- Im in Utah! Kayla went to the doctor on Friday and she is 80% effaced and 1 cm dilated. They decided to induce on Monday so she will be admitted tonight!!!
My trip went smoothly. I was exhausted from the 2 day PD but so excited to come! The girls picked me up in the morning. We went out for brunch at IHOP since Bob never takes me!
Then we did some pre-baby pedicure prep!
Then we went last minute shopping and then all the cousins went to the Escape Room!
SO excited for tonight!
I cant believe it has been a month since the last blog entry. I feel like time is just flying and I cant keep up with it all! My school picture actually turned out
We had a fun visit with my cousin Alyssa and her family!
I made some Literary Pumpkins
We usually have the twins every weekend
Got SOOOO many apples yesterday!
Happy Birthday to Grandma Hart and Grandma Cunningham this week!
Less than 2 weeks til Ellie comes! Kayla says she is looking healthy and everything is going great so far!
Busy Busy Busy is the theme for the year. How are we almost to October??
Yesterday we canned 24 jars of salsa, plus I helped Leah pack for 3 hours and we took the twins for 8 hours, plus I had to prepare my talk. It was a crazy day!
Last weekend we got to puppy sit adorable Leisel! She claimed the guineas are her new BFFs but they wanted nothing to do with her!
We also babysat the twins
I worked extremely hard on the Houston Hurricane Project. The truck ended up coming this week so I was in a major panic to get it all done, but we did it! The truck is on its way to Houston with 35 boxes packed with 1,727 books, filled with over 1000 handmade bookmarks by students, 5 large boxes of hygiene supplies, and 8 boxes of textbooks!!! So grateful for 2 of my friends from high school that helped with the transport and finding a school!
I also worked to coordinate a students 4H project and our church youth to get ribbons with kindness letters onto stuffed animals and gather books to go with them that I will deliver to Operation Underground Railroad at Christmas!
Grace was helping
Kayla had her baby shower up in Hooper yesterday. Wish we could have been there too! We also love the 3D picture of Ellie. We are so glad all is well!
So glad Marisa got to go and it looks like you all had fun bowling too!
Happy 70th Birthday to my mom! Wish we could have been there to celebrate with you!!!
