I started work, and the kids might have been slightly bored, despite the fact I left lists of things to do. My eggs and all pictures had Nicholas Cages face on it!!
Kayla flew to Arizona for teen week. We sure miss her but she seems to be having fun.
I started work this week and you may want to sit down for this but…I LOVE MY NEW JOB!!!
1. I am working with the tech dept updating software and reformatting and I am getting plenty of experience that will make me extremely marketable!
2. I went shopping to get stuff for decorating. The libraries are in desperate need of tender care and love.
3. Both libraries are in poor shape, not due to the last librarian. (She had to do all 3 libraries all alone for 2 years, so most of her time was at the elementary. My budget is very small. So, I am finding ways to write a grant, look for cheap books, ask for donations, etc so I can rebuild the collections. I have my work cut out for me but MAN am I excited!!
(I got all these books brand new condition at goodwill for a total of $12!)

(This is the ENTIRE high school fiction collection. It about put me in tears. Most are extremely old. If I kept the most recent only 5 would be on the shelf. Holy Moly!)
