Only 1 ½ days until summer vacation!! (May 30)
We are so close to freedom- I can taste it!! Only 1 ½ days left!!!
(You cant see it too clearly, but Bob put plastic circles around the trees and put wood chips in. It looks so great)More Awards
Apparently Marisa wasn’t done getting awards! On Sunday she received the Stake President’s seminary award. To earn this she had to: read the Book of Mormon, memorize and apply all scripture mastery, memorize apostles in order, 275 days of reading of every night, and have at least 80% attendance.
Then, she had her tennis banquet this week. She lettered this year in tennis and received the Leadership award. Way to go, Marisa!
She also got the “All Around Girl” from her seminary class. (Because she is involved in the most stuff and always came to seminary no matter what she was involved in)
Wax Museum
Tyler had his wax museum at school this week. He researched Merryweather Lewis and wrote a report. Then the whole class dresses up as their character and stands still (like a wax figure) for the whole MOD. Tyler didn’t budge: even when I poked him and Patty tried to make him laugh. Who knew he could stand still that long?
Another blooming artist?
I thought Jonathan might want to see some of Alayna’s really cool artwork she did in school this year.
Yearbook
Kayla’s school yearbook came out this week and she and the committee passed them all out. She has a real talent at designing pages on the computer. Maybe she will be a web designer someday? Here are some of the pages she designed.
(The response I got when I asked her to go take a picture of the trees)
The Literate Mother
Cool site I heard about. Maybe some of you moms would be interested. The lady is a little more conservative than I am, but I LOVE her reviews.

The Car
We had to work very hard to scrub and clean Marisa’s car this week. Inside its all clean now and smells like Plumeria.
